Terms & Conditions

The Ride Kingdom

Acceptance of Agreement

By renting, receiving, or operating a vehicle provided by The Ride Kingdom, the renter agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

A physical or digital signature is not required for the rental agreement to be valid. The agreement becomes effective when any of the following occurs:

  • The renter receives possession of the vehicle
  • The renter makes a rental payment
  • The renter begins using the vehicle

These actions constitute full acceptance of the rental agreement and policies.

Rental Payments

Rental payments must be made according to the agreed payment schedule.

Failure to make payments on time may result in:

  • Late fees
  • Suspension of vehicle use
  • Vehicle recovery by the company

Outstanding balances remain due even after the vehicle is returned.

Late Payments

If the renter falls behind on rental payments, late fees may apply.

Charges will continue accumulating until the account is brought current.

Returning the vehicle does not eliminate unpaid balances.

Payment Methods

The Ride Kingdom accepts the following payment methods:

  • Cash
  • Zelle

Payments made using cash or Zelle do not incur additional processing fees.

Customers may also pay using:

  • Credit cards
  • Debit cards
  • PayPal
  • Cash App

Payments made through these platforms may include processing fees charged by the payment provider or point-of-sale system.

These fees will be added to the total payment amount and paid by the customer.

Processing fees are non-refundable, including in cases of refunds, cancellations, or disputes.

Long-Term Rentals

Customers renting vehicles on a long-term or weekly basis must provide a minimum of 7 days notice before returning the vehicle.

Failure to provide proper notice may result in additional charges.

Security Deposit Policy

Security deposits are returned between 30 and 45 days after the vehicle is returned.

This time allows the company to review and process:

  • Toll charges
  • Traffic violations
  • Parking tickets
  • Administrative processing

Deposit Deductions

The security deposit may be used to cover:

  • Toll charges
  • Traffic violations
  • Parking tickets
  • Cleaning fees
  • Administrative processing fees
  • Vehicle damages

Any remaining balance will be refunded to the renter.

Deposit Cannot Be Used as Rent

The security deposit cannot be used to cover rental payments.

If the renter owes rental payments, the deposit will not be applied toward outstanding rent balances.

Vehicle Condition

Vehicles must be returned in clean condition and in the same mechanical condition as when they were delivered.

Cleaning fees may apply if the vehicle is returned excessively dirty.

Tire Responsibility

The renter is responsible for maintaining the tires in safe operating condition during the rental period.

Any damage caused by:

  • punctures
  • road hazards
  • impact damage
  • improper driving
  • negligence

may be charged to the renter.

Normal tire wear is excluded.

Unauthorized Drivers

Only the authorized renter may operate the vehicle unless written permission is provided by the company.

Allowing unauthorized drivers may result in termination of the rental agreement.

Rideshare Use

Customers using the vehicle for rideshare services such as Uber, Lyft, or delivery platforms are responsible for obtaining and maintaining the insurance required by those platforms.

The Ride Kingdom is not responsible for rideshare platform insurance requirements.

Toll Policy (Long-Term Rentals)

This policy applies only to long-term rentals.

If a renter uses toll roads and the toll is processed through the company’s toll system, the renter will be charged:

  • the full value of the toll charges, plus
  • an administrative fee of 15% of the total toll amount

This administrative fee covers toll processing and management.

This fee is separate from SunPass accounts or Toll-By-Plate charges.

SunPass Requirement (Long-Term Rentals)

All long-term renters are required to obtain and use their own SunPass portable transponder.

The required device is the removable suction-cup version that attaches to the windshield.

The renter must:

  • purchase their own SunPass transponder
  • install it during the rental period
  • remove it when returning the vehicle

If the renter fails to install their own SunPass and tolls are processed through the company’s system, the 15% administrative fee will apply.

Administrative Fees

Administrative fees may apply for processing:

  • toll charges
  • traffic violations
  • parking tickets
  • other vehicle-related violations

GPS Tracking

Vehicles may be equipped with GPS tracking devices for security and operational purposes.

By renting the vehicle, the renter consents to location tracking and monitoring.

Vehicle Recovery

The company reserves the right to disable, recover, or repossess the vehicle if:

  • rental payments are overdue
  • the agreement is violated
  • the vehicle is considered abandoned
  • the vehicle is at risk

Prohibited Uses

The vehicle may not be used for:

  • reckless or aggressive driving
  • racing
  • illegal activities
  • transporting illegal substances
  • subleasing the vehicle to another person

Violation of these conditions may result in termination of the rental agreement.

Communication

All official communication related to the rental will be conducted primarily through the designated WhatsApp group created for the rental.

The WhatsApp group serves as the primary communication channel between the renter and The Ride Kingdom.

Messages in the WhatsApp group may include:

  • payment reminders
  • toll notifications
  • rental updates
  • damage notifications
  • administrative notices
  • contract or policy updates

Messages sent within the WhatsApp group are considered official communication and valid notification to the renter.

Secondary communication channels may include:

  • text messages (SMS)
  • email
  • direct WhatsApp messages

Screenshots or message history from these communication channels may be used as evidence of communication between the company and the renter.

Failure to respond to these communications does not invalidate the notification.

Reservation Policy

Customers may make a reservation and choose to pay upon arrival.

To secure a reservation, The Ride Kingdom may require:

  • a credit card on file, or
  • a Zelle payment deposit.

A temporary authorization of USD $1.00 may appear on the customer’s credit card statement.

If the customer does not show up for the reservation, a No-Show Fee may apply.

The No-Show Fee may be:

  • the full deposit amount, or
  • USD $50 per day until the vehicle is rented by another customer.

Reservation Cancellation

Reservations must be canceled in writing using the same method used to make the reservation.

Phone calls are not accepted for reservation cancellations.

Cancellation must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled rental time.

Prepaid Reservations

For prepaid reservations, the credit card will be charged in full at the time the reservation is made.

The same credit card used to make the reservation must be present at the time of pickup.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Prepaid reservations are non-refundable.

If the vehicle is not picked up at the scheduled time, the reservation will be canceled and no refund or credit will be issued.

An exception may apply only if the vehicle is rented to another customer within five (5) days.

Refund Exceptions

The Ride Kingdom may approve refunds in the following situations:

  • illness preventing travel
  • jury duty preventing travel
  • the company is unable to fulfill the reservation (for example, no vehicle available)

Refund decisions remain at the sole discretion of the company.

Cancellation Handling Fee

A handling fee may apply to reservation cancellations.

If the customer chooses to change the reservation date instead of canceling, the handling fee may be waived, but the new reservation may be subject to rate adjustments.

Reservation Support

For reservation changes, refund requests, or assistance, customers may contact:

payments@TRKMiami.com

Abandoned Vehicles

If the renter stops communicating with the company or fails to maintain payments, the vehicle may be considered abandoned and recovered by the company.

Additional charges may apply.

Outstanding Balances

If charges exceed the security deposit, the renter remains responsible for paying the remaining balance.

Jurisdiction

Any dispute related to the rental agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

Policy Updates

The Ride Kingdom reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Last Update: 11/15/2025

Continued use of the vehicle constitutes acceptance of the updated policies.
